Functions


The City Clerk's Office is the central storage location for all City records and public records requests. The City Clerk's staff are Municipal Agent's for the State of New Hampshire, allowing them to process a variety of Motor Vehicle registrations, operates as the local registrar for the Department of Vital Records and Statistics, offers Notary and Justice of the Peace services during regular business hours, licenses dogs, and so much more. We are here to help.

The City Clerk's Office is responsible for preparing and overseeing all elections being held in the City of Laconia, including municipal, state and federal elections. If you are interested in assisting at the polls on election days please contact the City Clerk. 

The City Clerk is an active member of the New Hampshire City and Town Clerk's Association, serving as the President from October 2016 through September 2017.
