About the Committee
The Minor Site Plan Committee shall remain in compliance with Chapter 89 of the City Code for membership, authority, appeal procedure and annual review. The Planning Board may appoint a liaison to view the MSPC meetings, but the liaison will not be considered a voting member. The Committee is made up of seven (7) members, with a quorum of four (4) members needed to open a meeting. This committee is comprised of Dept heads for the following depts.: Dept of Public Works, Chair; Planning Dept; Police Dept; Fire Dept; Code/Building Dept; Assessing Dept; Water Dept (Amended 2/98; 12/2017)
The Minor Site Plan Committee shall be held on the last Wednesday of the month (except for holidays) and shall begin at 2:30 PM, with submittal deadlines the last Monday of the month prior. Meeting and deadline dates to be specified in the review calendar prepared annually by the Planning Department. (amended 2/98; 2017).
Applications, along with application fees and seven (7) sets of plan proposal shall be submitted by the filing deadline as listed on the annual review schedule to the depts. listed above. Any comments will be forwarded to the applicant, so that they may revise the application as needed to meet the review schedule. Late or incomplete applications shall not be scheduled for public hearing. The public hearing will run just as a Planning Board meeting.
Appeals shall be consistent with RSA 674:43(III) and filed within 20 days of the Committee’s decision to the full Planning Board. (Amended 2/98)
