Notary Services

The Laconia Public Library offers Notary Public Services for the benefit of the residents of our community. The services of a Notary Public are available for free to all Laconia Residents and Laconia Public Library cardholders.  Non-Residents who do not have an active Laconia Public Library card will be charged a fee of $2.

Scheduling

It is recommended that customers seeking Notary Service call the Library prior to their visit to ensure that a Notary is available at that time. The Library can be reached by calling (603) 524-4775. 

Library Notaries are only available during the Library’s hours of operation. The Laconia Public Library cannot guarantee a Notary Public will be available upon request.

Documents

Notary service is limited to three documents per person, per visit. The document must be completely filled out, leaving no blanks other than where the customer will sign the document, before appearing before the Library Notary. Library Notaries may, at their sole discretion, decline to provide Notary Service.

Note: The Library does not notarize wills.
