Public Works’ contractor, Evrok’s Corporation, will be starting work on the Church Street Bridge beginning March 11th. Their first week of work will not have any impact on the traffic. (Equipment will be in the parking spaces on the bridge). Starting Monday March 18th, only one lane of traffic will be passable. Temporary traffic lights will control the flow of vehicles. Eastbound and westbound traffic will alternate. Also, at that time, we will close River Street--except for emergency vehicles. (It will continue to be used as the main Hospital route).
