The City of Laconia recently launched an effort to update the Master Plan —a long-range planning document that will guide land use policy, housing, transportation, economic development, and community investment over the next 10–15 years. This plan will help ensure Laconia remains a vibrant lakeside community where people want to live, work, and visit, while also setting clear goals for how the city should grow into the future.
In 2025 and 2026, the update will focus on the Vision, Housing, Transportation, Economic Development, Community Facilities, and Land Use Chapters. Resilience Planning and Design, RKG Associates, and Beta Group, Inc. are partnering with a City Steering Committee to lead this effort.
