Park Construction is completing sewer and water upgrades on Southern Lakeport Area Sewer, Water, Drain and Mechanic Street Reconstruction project. The project includes water and sewer upgrade on Mechanic, Clinton and Prospect Streets and sewer upgrades also on Hill, Cole and Pear Streets. Busby Construction is completing road, sidewalk and drain reconstruction on Mechanic Street. Work is scheduled to be finished in October 2021.
The Elm Street Area sewer project (from Franklin Street to Hickory Stick) was awarded to Park Construction Corp. Work is scheduled to begin at the Franklin Street intersection in September 2021. The contractor will continue until November 2021 and will then resume work in the spring of 2022. The sewer upgrades are scheduled to be completed in July 2022.
