Moving your portable basketball hoops so they are no longer on or near the streets will keep them safe from being hit by plow trucks and tractors. The hoops can damage the snow removal equipment, or the snow removal equipment can damage the hoops themselves. Please immediately move your portable basketball hoops at least five feet back from the edge of streets or sidewalks as the weight of the snow coming off from the plows can knock the hoops over, damaging them and anything that may be in their path.
