Construction has begun on the $4.2 million dollar addition and renovation of the Central Fire Station. The project includes the addition of new administrative office space, new dormitory facilities, a training-EOC facility, additional vehicle storage and parking. The station will be equipped with an emergency generator to support operations in an emergency. Architectural design work was done by Warrenstreet Architects of Concord. Construction services are provided by North Branch Construction of Concord. Occupancy of the new addition is slated for mid-August, 2015 and final completion is scheduled for December, 2015.
