The Laconia Brush Dump will be closed temporarily as of May 31st. Due to the recent dry weather, the City has been unable to burn the material brought to the Brush Dump.
The amount of material in the dump has reached the point that no more can be taken until the material on site has been burned.
The Brush Dump will not re-open until weather conditions allow the Department of Public Works to burn the material that is on hand.
