Laconia’s beauty draws new residents and tourists from all over. The City Council has established an Adopt-a-City-Street Program to further their efforts to improve the quality of life for its residents and visitors. In addition to keeping Laconia clean, it helps strengthen community ties—encouraging neighbors to work together towards a common goal. This is a great civic opportunity for schools, colleges, service clubs, scouting organizations, religious groups, and businesses.
The streets in the program include the City’s arterials such as Court and Main Streets, and those residential streets that feed into residential areas such as Old North Main and Highland Streets.
