The City of Laconia participates in the Lakes Region Planning Commission's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program. This year we hosted a collection event at the Department of Public Works on September 20, 2025. In addition this event, our residents can attend collection events held on other dates by other towns in the area. See the Hazardous Waste Collection flyer for more information. These events are for residents only--not businesses. Remember to to bring proof of residency. (Residents from non-participating towns will be denied entry).
